AJR91,1,1 1Relating to: the life and military service of Lance Corporal Richard Warner, USMC.
AJR91,1,42 Whereas, Lance Corporal Richard Warner was born September 1, 1982, and
3was killed in action on December 13, 2004, in the Babil Province of Iraq by an
4improvised explosive device; and
AJR91,1,85 Whereas, LCpl. Warner enlisted in the United States Marine Corps with
6friends Matt Jencen and Jared Hidalgo and served with distinction and honor as a
7member of the Milwaukee-based Company F, 2nd Battalion, 24th Marine Regiment,
84th Marine Division (Fleet Marine Forces); and
AJR91,1,119 Whereas, LCpl. Warner attended St. Paul Catholic Elementary School in
10Genesee Depot and later attended Catholic Memorial High School for one year and
11graduated from Kettle Moraine High School; and
AJR91,1,1312 Whereas, LCpl. Warner loved the northwoods of Wisconsin, excelled in sports,
13and had a passion for cars; and
AJR91,1,1514 Whereas, LCpl. Warner had enrolled in and aspired to one day become a
15helicopter pilot and hoped to one day work for either the FBI or the CIA; and

1Whereas, LCpl. Warner will be remembered by his parents, Patrick and Mary
2Donahue, his sister, Kimberly Warner, his grandparents Isabelle Kaelin and Elda
3Warner, and his other family and friends for his bravery and courage and will never
4be forgotten; and
AJR91,2,75 Whereas, LCpl. Warner will also be remembered in honor of his late
6grandparents Adelrich Kaelin, William Warner, and Donald and Marie Donahue;
7now, therefore, be it
AJR91,2,11 8Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the members of the
9Wisconsin legislature commend the life of Lance Corporal Richard Warner, express
10their sorrow at his death, and extend their condolences to his family and friends; and,
11be it further
AJR91,2,13 12Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall provide copies of this joint
13resolution to the family of LCpl. Richard Warner.
