SR1,1,2 1Relating to: recognizing the retirement of Moni Rohr and her many
2accomplishments on behalf of the Wisconsin state senate.
SR1,1,43 Whereas, Ramona Agnus Rohr was born to Charles and Gertrude Rohr on
4November 5, 1950, at Bellin Memorial Hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin; and
SR1,1,65 Whereas, Moni graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in
61972 with a degree in Sociology; and
SR1,1,77 Whereas, Moni began her career on March 12, 1973, as a senate messenger; and
SR1,1,98 Whereas, on April 1, 1974, Moni became a legislative secretary for state Senator
9Schuele; and
SR1,1,1310 Whereas, in January 1975 Moni joined the staff of the Office of the Senate Chief
11Clerk and has worked there, for the most part, ever since, overseeing the transition
12from the stone age of pencil and paper to the modern world of computerized
13spreadsheets; and

1Whereas, Moni became the senate chief clerk's business manager and possesses
2professional wisdom and expertise of the financial and human resource functions of
3the Wisconsin state senate which has made her an incredible asset; and
SR1,2,64 Whereas, Moni has been an integral part of Wisconsin state senate operations
5for over 3 decades and has been an exemplary employee and has always excelled in
6her responsibilities and duties; and
SR1,2,87 Whereas, senators and staff alike will miss Moni's distinctive laugh, her famous
8expressions like, "You go girl," and the joy with which she approached her work; and
SR1,2,109 Whereas, the Wisconsin senate wishes Moni the best of luck in her retirement
10and thanks her for her years of dedicated service; now, therefore, be it
SR1,2,13 11Resolved by the senate, That the members of the Wisconsin senate honor,
12salute, and commend Moni Rohr for her years of dedicated service to the senate and
13wish her many productive and enjoyable years in retirement; and, be it further
SR1,2,16 14Resolved, That the senate chief clerk shall provide copies of this resolution to
15Moni Rohr, her mother, Gertrude Rohr, and her daughters, Marty Hanfeld and Kate
16Fox.
