AB535,1,2 1An Act to amend 814.68 (2) of the statutes; relating to: increasing
2supplementary examination fees for supplemental court commissioners.

Under current law, supplemental court commissioners receive a fee of $15 for
attending a supplementary examination under ch. 816 at which a judgment debtor
may be ordered to answer a judgment creditor's inquiries regarding the judgment
debtor's property. This bill increases that fee to $50.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB535, s. 1 3Section 1. 814.68 (2) of the statutes is amended to read:
AB535,2,24 814.68 (2) Supplementary examinations. For attendance upon an examination
5under ch. 816, a supplemental court commissioner shall collect a fee of $15 $50 to be
6paid upon the issuance of the order under s. 816.03 (1). The fee shall be returned in
7any case where it appears by affidavit filed that the order was not served upon the

1judgment debtor. This fee is the only fee a supplemental court commissioner is
2entitled to for proceedings under ch. 816.

AB535,2,54 (1) This act takes effect on the first day of the 4th month beginning after
5publication.
