AB539,1,2 1An Act to amend 146.33 of the statutes; relating to: allowing a 16-year-old to
2donate blood with parental consent.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, any person who is 17 years old or older may donate blood
in a voluntary and noncompensatory blood program. This bill provides that a
16-year-old may donate blood in such a program if his or her parent consents to the
donation.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

AB539,1,7 4146.33 Blood donors. Any person who is 17 years old or older may donate
