AB58,1,2 1An Act to amend 753.06 (6) (e) of the statutes; relating to: adding a circuit court

Currently, Juneau County has one circuit court branch. As of August 1, 2008,
this bill adds one circuit court branch in Juneau County.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB58, s. 1 3Section 1. 753.06 (6) (e) of the statutes is amended to read:
AB58,1,54 753.06 (6) (e) Juneau County. The circuit has one branch. Commencing August
51, 2008, the circuit has 2 branches.
AB58, s. 2 6Section 2. Nonstatutory provisions; circuit courts.
AB58,1,97 (1) The initial election for circuit judge for branch 2 of the circuit court for
8Juneau County shall be at the spring election of 2008 for terms commencing August
91, 2008, and ending July 31, 2014.

1(2) The authorized FTE positions for the circuit courts are increased by 1.0 GPR
2circuit judge position on June 30, 2008, to be funded from the appropriation under
3section 20.625 (1) (a) of the statutes, to provide an additional circuit court judge for
4the circuit court branch created by this act.
AB58,2,85 (3) The authorized FTE positions for the circuit courts are increased by 1.0 GPR
6court reporter position on June 30, 2008, to be funded from the appropriation under
7section 20.625 (1) (a) of the statutes, to provide one court reporter for the circuit court
8branch created by this act.
