AB62,1,3 An Act to renumber and amend 27.01 (15) (b); and to create 27.01 (15) (b) 2. of the statutes; relating to: electric receptacles maintained by the Department of Natural Resources at state park campsites.

Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau

Under current law, the number of state park campsites that have electric receptacles maintained by the Department of Natural Resources may not be more than 25 percent of all state park campsites. This bill increases this percentage to 30 percent. Also, the bill limits the number of campsites in any one state park that may have electric receptacles to 50 percent.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

AB62, s. 1 Section 1. 27.01 (15) (b) of the statutes is renumbered 27.01 (15) (b) (intro.) and amended to read:

AB62,2,3 27.01 (15) (b) (intro.) The number of state park campsites with electric receptacles shall be maintained by the department so that not all of the following apply:

AB62,2,5 1. No more than 25% 30 percent of all state park campsites in the state have electric receptacles and not.

AB62,2,7 3. No less than 25% 25 percent of all state park campsites in the state are rustic state park campsites.

AB62, s. 2 Section 2. 27.01 (15) (b) 2. of the statutes is created to read:

AB62,2,10 27.01 (15) (b) 2. No more than 50 percent of the state park campsites in any one state park have electric receptacles.
