AB810,1,2 1An Act to amend 45.33 (1) (d) of the statutes; relating to: eligibility for veterans
2housing loan.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, certain persons are eligible for a veterans housing loan,
including persons who have completed six continuous years of service under
honorable conditions in the army unit of the national guard or in the air unit of the
national guard. Under this bill, a person who has served under honorable conditions
in either unit of the national guard for six continuous years or who has served a total
of six continuous years in the two units of the national guard is eligible for a veterans
housing loan.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

AB810,1,74 45.33 (1) (d) Any person who has completed 6 continuous years of service under
5honorable conditions in the army or air national guard or in any reserve component
6of the U.S. armed forces, and who is living in this state at the time of his or her
7application for benefits.

AB810,2,32 (1) This act first applies to applications for a veterans housing loan submitted
3on the effective date of this subsection.
