Whereas, Jolene Anderson, a native of Port Wing, Wisconsin, chose to further
5her promising athletic and academic career in her home state at the University of
6Wisconsin-Madison; and

Whereas, Jolene Anderson has been named the Big Ten Player of the Year, the
8first Badger to be so honored; and

Whereas, Jolene Anderson has made University of Wisconsin history by
10becoming the all-time leading scorer for both men and women, with 2,267 Big Ten
11career points. Jolene has led the Badgers in scoring and rebounding for all of her four
12years on the team, averaging 19.8 points per game. Jolene ranks among the top in
13the Big Ten, including fourth in rebounding with 7.6 per game and seventh in Big Ten
14scoring points; and
