SJR10,1,63 Whereas, on August 27, 2006, Specialist Shaun Allen Novak, of Two Rivers,
4Wisconsin, a member of the 1st Battalion, 66th Armor Regiment, 1st Brigade, 4th
5Infantry Division, United States Army, died while serving his country in Taji, Iraq;
6and
SJR10,1,87 Whereas, Specialist Novak provided faithful and honorable service to the
8people of the state of Wisconsin and the people of the United States of America; and
SJR10,1,99 Whereas, the people of Wisconsin mourn the death of Specialist Novak; and
SJR10,1,1410 Whereas, Specialist Novak is survived by his parents, Randy and Brenda
11Novak, of Two Rivers, his brother, Danny Novak, of Two Rivers, his girlfriend,
12Jenissa Karbowski, his grandparents, Stan and Shirley Mott, of Two Rivers, and
13Richard and Bea Novak, of Manitowoc, and his great-grandmothers, Grace Novak
14and Molly Opichka, of Manitowoc; and

1Whereas, Specialist Novak was laid to rest on Saturday, September 9, 2006, at
2Holy Cross Cemetery in Two Rivers, Wisconsin; now, therefore, be it
SJR10,2,6 3Resolved by the senate, the assembly concurring, That the legislature of
4the state of Wisconsin commemorates the remarkable life of Specialist Shaun Allen
5Novak and extends its deepest sympathies to his family, friends, and colleagues; and
6be it further
SJR10,2,11 7Resolved, That the senate chief clerk shall transmit a copy of this joint
8resolution to Specialist Novak's parents, Randy and Brenda Novak, of Two Rivers,
9brother, Danny Novak, of Two Rivers, girlfriend, Jenissa Karbowski, grandparents,
10Stan and Shirley Mott, of Two Rivers, and Richard and Bea Novak, of Manitowoc,
11and great-grandmothers, Grace Novak and Molly Opichka, of Manitowoc.
