SJR6,1,42 Whereas, emergency medical personnel are often thrust into dangerous
3situations — situations that set their profession apart from most any other routine
4job; and
SJR6,1,65 Whereas, it is a difficult, sometimes daunting time to be part of the public
6health and safety professions; and
SJR6,1,97 Whereas, the Professional Ambulance Association of Wisconsin (PAAW) is a
8leading organization serving the needs of its members in the ambulance and medical
9transportation industry in Wisconsin; and
SJR6,1,1210 Whereas, PAAW and the American Ambulance Association are dedicated to
11excellence in the ambulance services industry and provide services to enable their
12members to effectively address the needs of the communities they serve; and
SJR6,1,1413 Whereas, PAAW and the American Ambulance Association advocate the
14highest quality patient care through ethical and sound business practices; and

1Whereas, PAAW has great admiration and respect for those who dedicate their
2time and talents to the emergency care profession; and
SJR6,2,43 Whereas, PAAW wishes to recognize the heroic and courageous work performed
4by emergency medical personnel every day; and
SJR6,2,75 Whereas, PAAW and the American Ambulance Association now seek to honor
6those in Wisconsin who exemplify the best qualities in the ambulance profession with
7the second annual "Stars of Life" recognition program; and
SJR6,2,118 Whereas, on February 8, 2007, 17 individuals will be honored as "Stars of Life"
9for demonstrating outstanding service to their profession through communication
10skills, customer service, and job performance in addition to exhibiting exceptional
11kindness and selflessness in performing their duties; now, therefore, be it
SJR6,2,15 12Resolved by the senate, the assembly concurring, That the members of the
13Wisconsin legislature congratulate PAAW on its "Stars of Life" program and their
14colleagues who will receive this award for their hard work and dedication to their jobs
15and patients and to their communities.
