SJR95,1,54 Whereas, Anne Carol Kok married Paul Kok in Minneapolis on December 27,
51968; and
SJR95,1,66 Whereas, Anne Carol Kok was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother; and
SJR95,1,87 Whereas, Anne Carol Kok received her doctorate from the University of
8Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Urban Studies; and
SJR95,1,109 Whereas, Anne Carol Kok was an associate professor and served as the Chair
10of University of Wisconsin-Green Bay's undergraduate program in social work; and
SJR95,1,1211 Whereas, Anne Carol Kok served in the Peace Corps in Ethiopia as an
12elementary and middle school teacher from 1969 to 1971; and
SJR95,1,1413 Whereas, Anne Carol Kok also worked for the Christian Reformed World Relief
14Committee in Jordan from 1973 to 1977; and

1Whereas, Anne Carol Kok won the University's Founders Association Award for
2excellence in collaborative achievement in developing the Masters of Social Work
3Program with UW-Oshkosh; and
SJR95,2,54 Whereas, Anne Carol Kok was a member of the National Association of Social
5Workers and the Council on Social Work Education; and
SJR95,2,76 Whereas, Anne Carol Kok was former board member and director of Help of
7Door County; and
SJR95,2,108 Whereas, Anne Carol Kok was a true example of leadership, devotion, and
9commitment to her community and in making the world a better place; now,
10therefore, be it
SJR95,2,13 11Resolved by the senate, the assembly concurring, That the Wisconsin
12legislature commends the life and public service of Anne Carol Kok, expresses sorrow
13at her death, and extends its condolences to her family and friends.
