AJR83,1,32 Whereas, Tommy T. Tradewell is an honored and respected life member of the
3Veterans of Foreign Wars and a resident of the village of Sussex, Wisconsin; and
AJR83,1,54 Whereas, Tommy joined the VFW in 1968 after serving two years in the US
5Army in Vietnam as a demolition specialist; and
AJR83,1,8 6Whereas, Tommy, for his service to his country, has been awarded the Purple
7Heart, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Good
8Conduct Medal; and
AJR83,1,12 9Whereas, Tommy has served in many elected leadership positions with the
10VFW including Department Commander, District 11 National Council, and Senior
11Vice Commander-in-Chief representing VFW members from Wisconsin and Iowa;

AJR83,2,2 13Whereas, Tommy has been active and involved in the community and in his
14country as a member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart, the Military Order
15of the Cootie, the American Legion, the Disabled American Veterans, the Vietnam

AJR83,2,6 3Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the Wisconsin
4legislature commends Tommy T. Tradewell for his dedicated service to his country,
5its citizens, and his comrades and congratulates him for his continued service as the
62009-2010 VFW National Commander-in-Chief.
