AB614,1,3 1An Act to create 29.563 (2) (a) 5j., 29.563 (2) (a) 8r., 29.563 (4) (a) 1r. and 29.563
2(4) (a) 3. of the statutes; relating to: fees for certain fish and game licenses
3issued to resident senior citizens.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Under current law, state residents who are under 18 years old pay reduced fees
for deer hunting licenses, archer hunting licenses, sports licenses, and conservation
patron licenses. A sports license and a conservation patron license confer upon the
licensee combined hunting and fishing privileges conferred by certain other licenses,
including a small game hunting license, a deer hunting license, and an annual
fishing license.
Under this bill, the same reduced fees apply to the four licenses listed above
when they are issued to resident senior citizens. A resident senior citizen is a state
resident who is at least 65 years of age.
For further information see the state and local fiscal estimate, which will be
printed as an appendix to this bill.
