1An Act to create 941.319 of the statutes;
relating to: mephedrone or
2methylenedioxpyravalerone and providing a penalty.

This bill prohibits manufacturing, distributing, delivering, or possessing with
the intent to distribute or deliver, mephedrone or methylenedioxpyravalerone with
the intent that the substance be consumed by a person.
The penalty for violating the prohibition is a fine not to exceed $10,000.
Because this bill creates a new crime or revises a penalty for an existing crime,
the Joint Review Committee on Criminal Penalties may be requested to prepare a
report concerning the proposed penalty and the costs or savings that are likely to
result if the bill is enacted.

1(a) "Deliver," with respect to mephedrone or methylenedioxpyravalerone, has
2the same meaning given in s. 961.01 (6) with respect to a controlled substance or
3controlled substance analog.

(b) "Distribute," with respect to mephedrone or methylenedioxpyravalerone,
5has the same meaning given in s. 961.01 (9) with respect to a controlled substance
6or controlled substance analog.

(c) "Manufacture," with respect to mephedrone or methylenedioxpyravalerone,
8has the same meaning given in s. 961.01 (13) with respect to a controlled substance
9or controlled substance analog.

10(2) Whoever manufactures, distributes, delivers, or possesses with the intent
11to distribute or deliver, mephedrone or methylenedioxpyravalerone with intent that
12it be consumed by an individual may be fined not more than $10,000.
