2principal place of employment of certain individuals who make political
3contributions.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Currently, with limited exceptions, each registrant under the campaign finance
law must file periodic reports with the appropriate filing officer or agency specified
by law. The reports must contain specified information, including the occupation and
the name and address of the principal place of employment, if any, of each individual
contributor whose cumulative contributions for the calendar year exceed $100 in
amount or value.
This bill deletes the requirement to report the name and address of the
principal place of employment, if any, of these contributors.
