1An Act relating to: increasing state funding for the arts and making an
2appropriation.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
This bill increases the funding for aid to exceptionally talented groups and
individuals who are engaged in or concerned with the arts; for services that further
the development of the arts and humanities; and for grants and loans for arts
incubators by $5,000,000 in the 2014-15 fiscal year.

an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

State aid for the arts. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the
5statutes for the appropriation to the department of tourism under section 20.380 (3)
6(b) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2013, the dollar amount is increased by
1$5,000,000 for the second fiscal year of the fiscal biennium in which this subsection
2takes effect for the purposes for which the appropriation is made.
