AJR90,1,43 Whereas, Chadwick Brown has served as a staff attorney with the Legislative
4Council since June 2010; and
AJR90,1,65 Whereas, during his employment with the Legislative Council, Chad has been
6twice called to active duty with the United States Army; and
AJR90,1,97 Whereas, Chad was first mobilized to San Antonio, Texas, from July 2011 to
8May 2012, where he advocated for wounded warriors in disability proceedings at
9Fort Sam Houston and Brooke Army Medical Center; and
AJR90,1,1110 Whereas, Chad returned to the Legislative Council for one year before being
11deployed to Afghanistan; and
AJR90,1,1412 Whereas, in Afghanistan, Chad served as trial counsel and operational law
13attorney from May 2013 to January 2014 with Headquarters and Headquarters
14Company, Fourth Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault); and

1Whereas, during his military service in Afghanistan, Chad was awarded the
2Bronze Star Medal for meritorious service, as well as the Afghanistan Campaign
3Medal with Campaign Star and NATO Medal; now, therefore, be it
AJR90,2,6 4Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the legislature of
5the state of Wisconsin honors and commends Chad Brown for his military service;
6and, be it further
AJR90,2,8 7Resolved, That the assembly chief clerk shall provide copies of this joint
8resolution to Chad and to his wife, Yvonne, and daughter, Miranda.
