1An Act to create 5.41 of the statutes;
relating to: suspending the requirement
2to provide identification to vote at an election during a state of emergency.

Under this bill, no voter is required to provide identification in order to vote at
any primary or election held within 90 days after the day on which the governor
declares a state of emergency.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

1. 5.41 of the statutes is created to read:

45.41 Suspension of voter identification during an emergency.
5Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary, no elector is required to provide
6identification in order to vote at any primary or election held within 90 days after the
1day on which the governor issues an executive order declaring a state of emergency,
2as provided under s. 323.10.
