AB618,1,1 1An Act relating to: REAL ID funding and making an appropriation.

This bill increases the amount appropriated to the Department of
Transportation in fiscal year 2022-23 for supplies and services to support REAL ID
compliance. Under current law generally, DOT must follow certain procedures in
processing applications for driver's licenses and identification cards as specified in
the federal REAL ID Act.

an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

AB618,1,63 (1) REAL ID funding. In the schedule under s. 20.005 (3) for the appropriation
4to the department of transportation under s. 20.395 (5) (cq), the dollar amount for
5fiscal year 2022-23 is increased by $400,000 for supplies and services to support
6REAL ID compliance.
