This bill requires the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation to
establish a trade office and appoint a trade representative for the purpose of
improving and conducting trade relations between Wisconsin and the Republic of
China (Taiwan).
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
AB678,1 3Section 1. 238.126 of the statutes is created to read:
AB678,1,6 4238.126 Trade relations with Taiwan. The corporation shall establish a
5trade office and appoint a trade representative for the purpose of improving and
6conducting trade relations between this state and the Republic of China.
