AJR31,1,74 Whereas, on March 25, 2023, the UW-Oshkosh Titans Women's Gymnastics
5team posted a score of 192.525 at the National Championship competition at Winona
6State University, earning the program's sixth-overall championship, its fourth in
7the NCGA and its second-consecutive NCGA title; and
AJR31,1,148 Whereas, several UW-Oshkosh Gymnastics team members earned individual
9national awards and honors including freshman Reanna McGibboney, who led the
10Titans with two All-America awards in floor exercise and vault; sophomore Mia
11Lucero, who earned an All-America medal in vault; senior Trinity Sawyer, who
12earned an All-America medal in uneven bars; freshman Lydia Hayden, who earned
13an All-America medal on balance beam; and junior Emily Buffington, whose
14all-around performance and scores earned her an All-America medal; and

1Whereas, seniors Adana Amor, Haley Volstad, and Kennedy Springer were all
2named NCGA Academic All-Americans; and
AJR31,2,63 Whereas, the Titans' second-consecutive NCGA National Championship
4concludes a stellar regular season in which the team finished with a WIAC
5Championship/West Region record score of 193.100 and went 6-1 in WIAC
6conference duals this season; and
AJR31,2,87 Whereas, this season marked the third-consecutive UW-Oshkosh Gymnastics
8season ending in a WIAC championship; now, therefore, be it
AJR31,2,11 9Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the members of the
10Wisconsin Legislature congratulate the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Women's
11Gymnastics team on their outstanding achievement and accomplishments.
