3more than 100 years; and
AJR84,1,64Whereas, propane is a clean-burning and low-carbon fuel that provides critical
5energy to residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural customers across
6Wisconsin and ensures a variety of market sectors can flourish; and
AJR84,1,87Whereas, propane is a nontoxic and federally designated clean alternative fuel
8that reduces emissions and improves air quality; and
AJR84,1,119Whereas, the United States is the worlds leading propane producer, and
10propane supports energy security, reliability, and resilience and helps consumers
11meet their unique heating and energy needs; and
AJR84,1,1312Whereas, Wisconsin's propane industry heats 278,175 homes, employs 1,360
13people, and contributes over $1 billion in state economic activity annually; and
AJR84,2,214Whereas, National Propane Day is celebrated across the country on October 7,

1and this legislature recognizes and celebrates National Propane Day and the
2important contributions made by the states propane industry; now, therefore, be it
AJR84,2,63Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the Wisconsin
4Legislature recognizes October 7, 2025, as National Propane Day in Wisconsin to
5highlight propane as a fuel source and the propane industrys important role in
6helping Wisconsinites meet their unique energy needs.
