2021 WISCONSIN ACT

An Act relating to: UW System institution participation in Department of Public Instruction-initiated landscape analysis.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:

AB962,1 Section 1. Nonstatutory provisions.

(1) Required participation in landscape analysis of educator preparation programs.

(a) In this subsection, “landscape analysis” means the analysis of educator preparation programs for which the joint committee on finance has approved the use of moneys from the federal American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, P.L. 117-2, and that is conducted by an independent organization that has been chosen by the department of public instruction.

(b) An institution, as defined in s. 36.05 (9), shall cooperate and participate in any landscape analysis if the department of public instruction requests the institution's cooperation or participation.
