AB171-AA4,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB171-AA4,1,2 21. Page 1, line 4: after "devices." insert "(1)".
AB171-AA4,1,5 32. Page 1, line 5: delete the material beginning with "owned" and ending with
4"consent" on page 2, line 1, and substitute "that he or she does not own, without the
5knowledge and consent of the owner of the vehicle".
AB171-AA4,1,6 63. Page 2, line 3: delete "or" and substitute "and".
AB171-AA4,1,7 74. Page 2, line 3: delete "section" and substitute "subsection".
AB171-AA4,1,8 85. Page 2, line 3: delete "I felony" and substitute "A misdemeanor".
AB171-AA4,1,9 96. Page 2, line 4: delete "officer" and substitute "officer,".
AB171-AA4,1,12 107. Page 2, line 4: after "capacity" insert ", who has a reasonable suspicion that
11a person has committed a crime and that placing a global positioning device on the
12person's vehicle will yield evidence of the crime,".

18. Page 2, line 6: delete that line and substitute "vehicle that the employer
2owns, leases, or assigns for use.".
AB171-AA4,2,3 39. Page 2, line 6: after that line insert:
AB171-AA4,2,12 4"(2) Whoever places a global positioning device on a vehicle used by his or her
5spouse after a petition for an annulment, divorce, or legal separation has been filed
6without that person's knowledge and consent is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor.
7This subsection does not apply to a law enforcement officer, acting in his or her
8official capacity, who has a reasonable suspicion that a person has committed a crime
9and that placing a global posting device on the person's vehicle will yield evidence
10of the crime, or to an employer, as defined in s. 323.245 (1) (b), acting to track the
11movement or location of a commercial vehicle that the employer owns, leases, or
12assigns for use.".
