ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 15, TO ASSEMBLY SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2009 ASSEMBLY BILL 282

AB282-ASA1-AA15,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

AB282-ASA1-AA15,1,2 1. Page 35, line 20: delete "(e)" and substitute "(e), (em),".

AB282-ASA1-AA15,1,4 2. Page 35, line 21: delete the material beginning with "may" and ending with "subdivision or" on line 22.

AB282-ASA1-AA15,1,5 3. Page 36, line 3: delete "par. (f)" and substitute "pars. (em) and (f)".

AB282-ASA1-AA15,1,7 4. Page 36, line 6: delete the material beginning with "or," and ending with "subdivision," on line 8.

AB282-ASA1-AA15,1,8 5. Page 37, line 15: delete "political subdivision or".

AB282-ASA1-AA15,1,9 6. Page 37, line 21: after that line insert:

AB282-ASA1-AA15,2,5 "(em) If a referendum specified in sub. (6) (a) 1. a. is held and is not approved by a majority of electors in a participating political subdivision of an authority, that participating political subdivision shall promptly withdraw from the authority. If a referendum specified in sub. (6) (a) 1. a. is held and is not approved by a majority of electors in a majority of participating political subdivisions that hold the referendum, the authority shall be dissolved in the manner specified in sub. (6) (e) 2.".

Page 41, line 10: after "affirmative." insert "For purposes of this subd. 1. a., a separate referendum shall be held simultaneously in each participating political subdivision of the authority and the referendum is decided in the affirmative only if the referendum is approved by a majority of electors in a majority of participating political subdivisions that hold the referendum.".
