AB282-ASA1-AA19,1,2 1. Page 35, line 8: delete "Milwaukee,".

AB282-ASA1-AA19,1,3 2. Page 39, line 15: delete lines 15 to 24.

AB282-ASA1-AA19,1,5 3. Page 40, line 5: delete the material beginning with "area," and ending with "County" on line 7 and substitute "area".

AB282-ASA1-AA19,1,7 4. Page 40, line 17: delete the material beginning with "Subject" and ending with "provide" on line 18 and substitute "Provide".

AB282-ASA1-AA19,1,9 5. Page 41, line 4: delete the material beginning with "following," and ending with "1." on line 5 and substitute "following".

AB282-ASA1-AA19,2,17 77.70 (2) In addition to the taxes imposed under sub. (1), if the tax imposition is approved by the electors in the county at a referendum, Milwaukee County may adopt an ordinance to impose a sales and use tax under this subchapter at the rate of no more than 0.5 percent of the sales price or purchase price to be used for transit purposes. The taxes may be imposed only in their entirety. If Milwaukee County imposes the taxes under this subsection, it shall not levy property taxes to pay for transit. An ordinance adopted under this subsection shall be effective on January 1, April 1, July 1, or October 1. A certified copy of the ordinance shall be delivered to the secretary of revenue at least 120 days prior to its effective date. The repeal of any such ordinance shall be effective on December 31. A certified copy of a repeal ordinance shall be delivered to the secretary of revenue at least 120 days before the effective date of the repeal.".
