ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 2, TO 2009 ASSEMBLY BILL 296

AB296-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB296-AA2,1,2 1. Page 4, line 1: delete lines 1 to 5 and substitute:

AB296-AA2,1,4 " Section 1m. 20.435 (5) (co) of the statutes, as affected by 2009 Wisconsin Act 28, is amended to read:

AB296-AA2,1,8 20.435 (5) (co) Integrated service programs for children with severe disabilities Initiatives for coordinated services. The amounts in the schedule to fund, under s. 46.56 (15), county integrated service programs for children with severe disabilities and tribal initiatives under s. 46.56 to provide coordinated services.".

AB296-AA2,1,10 2. Page 30, line 6: after "statutes" insert ", as affected by 2009 Wisconsin Act 28,".

AB296-AA2,1,11 3. Page 37, line 7: delete lines 7 to 15 and substitute:

AB296-AA2,1,13 " Section 72g. 46.56 (15) (a) of the statutes, as affected by 2009 Wisconsin Act 28, is amended to read:

AB296-AA2,2,6 46.56 (15) (a) From the appropriation account under s. 20.435 (5) (co), the department shall make available funds to implement programs initiatives under this section. The funds may be used to pay for the intake, assessment, case planning and service coordination provided under sub. (8) and for expanding the capacity of the county to provide community-based care and treatment for children with severe disabilities.

AB296-AA2, s. 72r Section 72r. 46.56 (15) (b) (intro.) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB296-AA2,2,9 46.56 (15) (b) (intro.) In order to apply for funds under this section subsection the county board of supervisors or tribe shall do all of the following:".

AB296-AA2,2,10 4. Page 37, line 21: delete "2. to 4." and substitute "2. and 3.".

AB296-AA2,2,11 5. Page 38, line 6: delete lines 6 to 12 and substitute:

AB296-AA2,2,13 " Section 74m. 46.56 (15) (b) 4. of the statutes, as affected by 2009 Wisconsin Act 28, is amended to read:

AB296-AA2,2,19 46.56 (15) (b) 4. Submit a description of the existing services and other resources in the county or tribe for children with severe disabilities who are involved in 2 or more systems of care, an assessment of any gaps in services, and a plan for using the funds received under this program subsection or funds from other funding sources to develop or expand any needed community-based services such as in-home treatment, day treatment, respite care, or crisis services the initiative.".
