AB649-ASA1-AA25,1,3 " Section 274m. 196.493 (4m) of the statutes is created to read:

AB649-ASA1-AA25,1,7 196.493 (4m) Certain cost recovery prohibited. The commission may not allow a public utility to charge ratepayers in advance for the construction of any nuclear reactor in this state as construction work-in-progress or through early cost recovery or any other advance funding mechanism.".

AB649-ASA1-AA25,1,11 "(1m) Nuclear reactor cost recovery prohibition. The treatment of section 196.493 (4m) of the statutes first applies to construction that begins on the effective date of this subsection.".
