SENATE AMENDMENT 3, TO 2009 SENATE BILL 123

SB123-SA3,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB123-SA3,1,3 1. Page 8, line 13: after "attached" insert "to the exterior of the vehicle, seaplane, watercraft, or other object".

SB123-SA3,1,5 2. Page 8, line 20: after "attached" insert "to the exterior of the seaplane, vehicle, watercraft, or other object".

SB123-SA3,1,7 3. Page 9, line 7: delete "apply to" and substitute "prohibit a person from doing".

SB123-SA3,1,8 4. Page 9, line 8: delete lines 8 to 23 and substitute:

SB123-SA3,2,2 "(am) Transporting or operating commercial aquatic plant harvesting equipment that has aquatic plants or animals attached to the exterior of the equipment if the equipment is owned or operated by a local governmental unit, if the equipment is being transported or operated for the purpose of cleaning the equipment to remove aquatic plants or animals, and if the person transports the equipment to, or operates the equipment at, a suitable location away from any body of water.

SB123-SA3,2,5 (b) Transporting or operating a vehicle, seaplane, watercraft, or other object of any kind with duckweed that is incidentally attached to the exterior of the vehicle, seaplane, watercraft, or other object.".
