SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2009 SENATE BILL 440

January 22, 2010 - Offered by Senator Risser.

SB440-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB440-SA1,1,3 1. Page 1, line 2: delete "waiving" and substitute "allowing cities and counties to waive".

SB440-SA1,1,6 2. Page 3, line 23: delete lines 23 and 24 and substitute "received by a city or county may be waived by action of the city's or county's governing body, and the allocation may be".

SB440-SA1,1,9 3. Page 4, line 2: delete lines 2 to 5 and substitute "unused if the city's or county's governing body adopts a resolution specifying the amount of the allocation that it does not intend to use.".

SB440-SA1,1,10 4. Page 4, line 6: delete lines 6 to 8 and substitute:

SB440-SA1,1,12 "(c) As soon as a city or county determines how much of its allocation it intends to use and adopts a resolution under par. (b), it shall send written".
