ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO 2009 ASSEMBLY BILL 283

AB283-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB283-AA1,1,4 1. Page 11, line 9: delete "in the person's household operated by the person" and substitute "for which the person's name appears on the vehicle's certificate of title or registration".

AB283-AA1,1,8 2. Page 13, line 13: delete the material beginning with "county treasurer" and ending with "department." on line 15 and substitute "department. The department shall pay $40 of each surcharge payment it receives to the sheriff of the county where the fee was collected.".

AB283-AA1,1,10 3. Page 25, line 25: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with page 26, line 3.
