SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2009 SENATE BILL 273

SB273-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB273-SA1,1,4 1. Page 1, line 3: before "and" insert ", inclusion of certain resources that generate electric power from certain fuel, synthetic gas, or fuel pellets in the renewable portfolio standard,".

SB273-SA1,1,5 2. Page 2, line 1: before that line insert:

SB273-SA1,1,6 " Section 1g. 196.378 (1) (h) 1. h., i. and j. of the statutes are created to read:

SB273-SA1,1,7 196.378 (1) (h) 1. h. Synthetic gas created by the plasma gasification of waste.

SB273-SA1,1,10 i. Densified fuel pellets made from waste material that does not include garbage, as defined in s. 289.01(9), and that contains no more than 30 percent fixed carbon.

SB273-SA1,1,11 j. Fuel produced by pyrolysis of organic or waste material.".

SB273-SA1,1,12 3. Page 2, line 1: delete " Section 1" and substitute "Section 1r".

SB273-SA1,2,3 4. Page 3, line 8: delete "or biogas," and substitute "biogas; synthetic gas created by the plasma gasification of waste; densified fuel pellets described in sub. (1) (h) 1. i.; or fuel described in sub. (1) (h) 1. j.;".
