The Assembly Sergeant-at-Arms Anne Tonnon Byers announced the arrival His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama.

Speaker Vos introduced the 14th Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso, who was escorted to the rostrum by Representative Stone, Representative Hesselbein and Sherab Phunkyi. Representative Stone addressed the members from the rostrum on the history of the Dalai Lama. His Holiness addressed the members from the rostrum.
(NOTE: Pursuant to the unanimous consent request made by Representative Stone, the remarks by the Dalai Lama will be transcribed and entered into the Assembly Journal at a later date.)
