AB133-ASA1-CA1,853,2 235. Transfer to the department of the contracts entered into by the department
24of natural resources relating to its vehicle fleet management functions which are in
25effect on the effective date of this subdivision. If the transfer occurs, the department

1shall carry out any obligations under such a contract until modified or rescinded by
2the department to the extent allowed under the contract.

AB133-ASA1-CA1,853,8 36. Transfer to the department of any rules promulgated or orders issued by the
4department of natural resources relating to its vehicle fleet management functions
5which are in effect on the effective date of the plan. If the transfer occurs, any such
6rules shall remain in effect until their specified expiration dates or until amended
7or repealed by the department, and any such orders shall remain in effect until their
8specified expiration dates or until modified or rescinded by the department.

AB133-ASA1-CA1,853,13 97. Transfer to the department of any matter pending with the department of
10natural resources relating to its vehicle fleet management functions. If the transfer
11occurs, all materials submitted to or actions taken by the department of natural
12resources with respect to the pending matter are considered as having been
13submitted to or taken by the department.

AB133-ASA1-CA1,853,19 14(d) The department shall submit to the cochairpersons of the joint committee
15on finance for consideration at the 3rd quarterly meeting of the committee under
16section 13.10 of the statutes in the year 2000 an implementation plan for
17consolidating the vehicle fleet management functions of the department of
18transportation and the University of Wisconsin-Madison with the corresponding
19functions of the department.

AB133-ASA1-CA1,853,21 20(e) The plan submitted under paragraph (d) may include provision for any of
21the following on the effective date specified in the plan:

23the University of Wisconsin-Madison relating to their vehicle fleet management
24functions to the department.

12. Transfer of the tangible personal property, including records, of the
2department of transportation and the University of Wisconsin-Madison to the
3department.

AB133-ASA1-CA1,854,10 43. Transfer to the department of any authorized full-time equivalent position
5of the department of transportation or the board of regents of the University of
6Wisconsin System relating to vehicle fleet management functions of the department
7of transportation or the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The plan shall include
8identification of the numbers, revenue sources and types of any positions to be
9transferred from the department of transportation or the board of regents of the
10University of Wisconsin System under the plan.

AB133-ASA1-CA1,854,18 114. Transfer to the department of any incumbent employes holding positions at
12the department of transportation or the University of Wisconsin-Madison relating
13to vehicle fleet management functions. Employes transferred under the plan have
14all the rights and the same status under subchapter V of chapter 111 and chapter 230
15of the statutes that they enjoyed at the department of transportation or the
16University of Wisconsin-Madison immediately before the transfer.
17Notwithstanding section 230.08 (4) of the statutes, no employe so transferred who
18has attained permanent status in class is required to serve a probationary period.

13or actions taken by the department of transportation or the board of regents of the
14University of Wisconsin System with respect to the pending matter are considered
15as having been submitted to or taken by the department.

AB133-ASA1-CA1,855,20 16(f) The joint committee on finance may approve or modify and approve the plans
17submitted under paragraphs (b) and (d). If the committee approves a plan, with or
18without modifications, the department may implement the plan on the effective date
19of the plan as specified in the plan. If the committee does not approve either plan,
20the department shall not implement that plan.

AB133-ASA1-CA1,856,2 21(g) Notwithstanding section 16.42 of the statues, the departments of natural
22resources and transportation and the board of regents of the University of Wisconsin
23System shall submit information under section 16.42 of the statutes for purposes of
24the 2001-2003 biennial budget bill reflecting any savings incurred from

1consolidation of vehicle fleet management functions as the result of implementation
2of a plan under this subsection.

AB133-ASA1-CA1,856,5 3(h) The departments of natural resources and transportation and the board of
4regents of the University of Wisconsin System shall fully cooperate with the
5department in implementing any plan approved under paragraph (f).".

AB133-ASA1-CA1,856,14 7"(7g) Village of Ashwaubenon tax incremental district number two.
8Notwithstanding section 66.46 (4) (h) 1. and 2. of the statutes, expenditures for
9project costs for tax incremental district number two in the village of Ashwaubenon
10may be made for not more than 5 years after the date on which the village board
11adopted a resolution amending the project plan in a way that modified the district's
12boundaries by adding territory to the district. Expenditures for tax incremental
13district number two in the village of Ashwaubenon may be made through July 30,
142001.".
