PI 34.080(2)(2) Eligibility. The state superintendent may issue a driver education license under this section to an applicant who meets all of the following requirements: PI 34.080(2)(a)(a) Has a teaching license issued under subch. VI or a pupil services license issued under subch. VII. PI 34.080(2)(c)(c) Has at least 3 years of driving experience with a valid driver’s license. PI 34.080(2)(d)(d) Has no more than 6 demerit points or a major violation charged by the department of transportation or similar demerits or violations charged by an equivalent authority in another state during a twelve-month period. PI 34.080(2)(e)(e) Has approved coursework in driver and safety education, including coursework in all of the following: PI 34.080(2)(e)6.6. At least 10 hours of supervised experience in teaching practice driving. PI 34.080(3)(3) Duration. The state superintendent may issue a two-year, renewable driver education license under this section to an applicant who meets all of the following requirements: PI 34.080(3)(b)(b) The applicant has at least 6 semester credits of coursework in driver and safety education, including all of the following: PI 34.080(3)(b)3.3. PI 34.081(1)(1) Authorization. A license issued under this section is not required to teach in a gifted, talented, and creative education program. PI 34.081(2)(2) Eligibility. The state superintendent may issue a gifted and talented license under this section to an applicant who meets all of the following requirements: PI 34.081(2)(b)(b) Completed an approved program, which included demonstrating understanding and competence in all of the following: PI 34.081(2)(b)1.1. The educational psychology of gifted, talented, and creative pupils. PI 34.081(2)(b)3.3. Modifying content, process, and product expectations as a means of achieving differentiated learning outcomes. PI 34.081(2)(b)4.4. Recognizing, recommending, and using alternative instructional strategies, including the use of technology, to facilitate development of differentiated pupil outcomes. PI 34.081(2)(b)5.5. Working with gifted, talented, and creative pupils, as demonstrated through a practicum, internship, or supervised activity with gifted, talented, and creative pupils.
