This chapter is promulgated under the authority of ss. 227.11 (2) and 253.12 (3) (a), Stats., to implement the Wisconsin birth defect prevention and surveillance system established by s. 253.12, Stats. The purpose of the program is to provide for: DHS 116.01(1)(1) Reporting to the department of information about birth defects in infants and children from birth to age 2.
