Trans 129.01Trans 129.01Purpose and scope. The purpose of this chapter, as authorized by ss. 85.16 (1), 85.30, 227.11, 343.06 (1) (c), 343.07 (4) (b), 343.16 (1) (a), and 343.32 (4), Stats., is as follows:
Trans 129.01(1)(1)To establish the department’s administrative interpretation of s. 343.16 (2) (cm), Stats., relating to the waiver of the motorcycle skills test.
Trans 129.01(2)(2)To set standards for and to establish the department's administrative interpretation of statutes related to rider education providers and rider coaches.
Trans 129.01(3)(3)To establish the department’s administrative interpretation of ss. 343.06 (1) (c), 343.07 (4) (b) and 343.16 (1) (a), Stats., relating to required attendance of motorcycle rider courses and motorcycle instruction permit issuance.
