2015 WISCONSIN ACT 19
An Act to renumber and amend 346.57 (4) (gm); and to create 346.57 (4) (gm) 2. of the statutes; relating to: the maximum speed limit on freeways and expressways.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
19,1 Section 1. 346.57 (4) (gm) of the statutes is renumbered 346.57 (4) (gm) 1. and amended to read:
346.57 (4) (gm) 1. Sixty-five Except as provided in subd. 2., 65 miles per hour on any freeway or expressway.
19,2 Section 2. 346.57 (4) (gm) 2. of the statutes is created to read:
346.57 (4) (gm) 2. Seventy miles per hour on any freeway, including freeways that are a part of the national system of interstate and defense highways, and on any portion of an expressway that gives preference to through traffic by utilizing interchanges only.
