1997 WISCONSIN ACT 222
An Act to amend 39.30 (3m) (a) of the statutes; relating to: increasing the maximum amount of tuition grants awarded by the higher educational aids board.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
222,1 Section 1 . 39.30 (3m) (a) of the statutes, as created by 1997 Wisconsin Act 27, is amended to read:
39.30 (3m) (a) No grant awarded under this section may exceed $1,086 $1,150 per semester or a prorated amount in the case of a quarter or trimester institution, or $2,172 $2,300 per academic year. Grants under this section may not be less than $250 during any one academic year.
222,2 Section 2 . Initial applicability.
(1) This act first applies to tuition grants awarded for the 1998-99 academic year.
