1999 WISCONSIN ACT 181
An Act to amend 15.07 (1) (a) 3. and 15.16 (1) (intro.); and to create 15.16 (1) (f) of the statutes; relating to: increasing the membership of the employe trust funds board.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
181,1 Section 1. 15.07 (1) (a) 3. of the statutes is amended to read:
15.07 (1) (a) 3. Members of the employe trust funds board appointed or elected under s. 15.16 (1) (a), (b) and , (d) and (f) shall be appointed or elected as provided in that section.
181,2 Section 2. 15.16 (1) (intro.) of the statutes is amended to read:
15.16 (1) Employe trust funds board. (intro.) The employe trust funds board shall consist of 12 members. The board shall consist of the governor or the governor's designee on the group insurance board, the secretary of employment relations or the secretary's designee and 10 11 persons appointed or elected for 4-year terms as follows:
181,4 Section 4. 15.16 (1) (f) of the statutes is created to read:
15.16 (1) (f) One member who is a participant in the Wisconsin retirement system and who is a technical college educational support personnel employe, as defined in s. 40.02 (55g), or an educational support personnel employe, as defined in s. 40.02 (22m), elected by participating employes meeting the same criteria.
181,5 Section 5. Nonstatutory provisions.
(1) Notwithstanding the length of terms or manner of appointment or election specified for members of the employe trust funds board under section 15.16 (1) (intro.) of the statutes, as affected by this act, the member specified under section 15.16 (1) (f) of the statutes, as created by this act, shall be initially appointed for a term expiring on May 1, 2003.
