SENATE AMENDMENT 3, To 1995 ASSEMBLY BILL 1048

AB1048-SA3,1,2 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by assembly substitute amendment 1, as follows:

AB1048-SA3,1,4 1. Page 1, line 13: on page 1, line 5, of the material inserted by assembly amendment 1, delete "and" and substitute a comma.

AB1048-SA3,1,6 2. Page 1, line 13: before the period insert "and making an appropriation", which was deleted by assembly amendment 1.

AB1048-SA3,1,7 3. Page 20, line 8: before that line insert:

AB1048-SA3,1,8 " Section 42m. Appropriation changes.

AB1048-SA3,1,14 (1) In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of public instruction under section 20.255 (1) (a) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 1995, the dollar amount is increased by $1,211,100 for fiscal year 1996-97 to increase funding for the purposes for which the appropriation is made and to increase the authorized FTE positions for the department by 18.91 GPR positions.

AB1048-SA3,2,3 (2) In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of public instruction under section 20.255 (3) (fz) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 1995, the dollar amount is increased by $100,000 for fiscal year 1996-97 to increase funding for the purposes for which the appropriation is made.".
