AB3-AA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB3-AA1,1,2 21. Page 1, line 2: after "by" insert "lobbyists, principals and".
AB3-AA1,1,3 32. Page 2, line 8: delete "legislative campaign,".
AB3-AA1,1,4 43. Page 2, line 15 delete "legislative campaign,".
AB3-AA1,1,5 54. Page 3 line 2: after that line insert:
AB3-AA1,1,6 6" Section 3. 13.62 (8e) of the statutes is created to read:
AB3-AA1,1,87 13.62 (8e) "Legislative campaign committee" has the meaning given in s. 11.01
8(12s).
AB3-AA1, s. 4 9Section 4. 13.625 (1) (c) (intro.) and 1. and (3) of the statutes are amended to
10read:
AB3-AA1,2,511 13.625 (1) (c) (intro.) Except as permitted in this subsection, make a campaign
12contribution, as defined in s. 11.01 (6), to a partisan elective state official for the
13purpose of promoting the official's election to any national, state or local office, or to
14a candidate for a partisan elective state office to be filled at the general election or
15a special election, or the to such an official's or candidate's personal campaign

1committee or to a legislative campaign committee. A campaign contribution to a
2partisan elective state official or candidate for partisan elective state office or, to his
3or her personal campaign committee or to a legislative campaign committee may be
4made in the year of a candidate's election between June 1 and the day of the general
5election, except that:
AB3-AA1,2,86 1. A campaign contribution to a candidate for legislative office or to a legislative
7campaign committee
may be made during that period only if the legislature has
8concluded its final floorperiod, and is not in special or extraordinary session.
AB3-AA1,2,15 9(3) No candidate for an elective state office, elective state official, agency
10official or legislative employe of the state may solicit or accept anything of pecuniary
11value from a lobbyist or principal, except as permitted under subs. (1) (b) 3. and (c),
12(2), (4), (5), (6), (7), (8) and (9). No personal campaign committee of a candidate for
13state office and no legislative campaign committee may accept anything of pecuniary
14value from a lobbyist or principal, except as permitted under sub. (1) (c) or as
15permitted
for such a candidate under subs. (1) (b) 3. and (c), (2) and (6).".
