1An Act to create 20.245 (3) (c), 44.33 (8) and 44.46 of the statutes;
relating to:
2historic agricultural building grants and making an appropriation.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

1. 20.005 (3) (schedule) of the statutes: at the appropriate place, insert
4the following amounts for the purposes indicated:

Historic agricultural building grant program. The amounts in
7the schedule for the historic agricultural building grant program under s. 44.46.

244.46 Historic agricultural building grant program.
(1) In this section,
3"historic agricultural building" means any building or structure that is used
4primarily for agricultural purposes and which is significant in the history,
5architecture or culture of this state.

6(2) From the appropriation under s. 20.245 (3) (c), the historical society shall
7award grants to owners of historic agricultural buildings to provide assistance in the
8restoration of such buildings.

9(3) Grants shall be awarded in accordance with criteria approved by the state
10review baord under s. 44.33 (8). Subject to sub. (3), the historical society shall
11establish procedures and criteria for awarding grants under this section.
