SENATE AMENDMENT 1, To 1995 ASSEMBLY BILL 55

AB55-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB55-SA1,1,3 1. Page 1, line 2: delete "a certain portion of STH 49" and substitute "certain highway routes".

AB55-SA1,1,4 2. Page 1, line 6: before "STH" insert: "the following highway routes:

AB55-SA1,1,5 1.".

AB55-SA1,1,7 3. Page 1, line 7: after that line, delete the material inserted by assembly amendment 1 and substitute:

AB55-SA1,1,16 "2. CTH "I" commencing at its junction with STH 49; then proceeding southerly on CTH "I" to its junction with STH 26; then proceeding southerly on STH 26 to its junction with CTH "E"; then proceeding easterly on CTH "E" to its junction with STH 33; then proceeding easterly on STH 33 to its junction with STH 28; then proceeding northerly on STH 28 to its junction with CTH "TW"; then proceeding northerly on CTH "TW" to its junction with Dorham Road; then proceeding westerly on Dorham Road to its junction with Rockvale Road; then proceeding northerly on Rockvale Road to its junction with CTH "Z"; then proceeding northerly on CTH "Z" to its junction with STH 49; in Dodge County.

AB55-SA1,2,6 (2) (a) Upon receipt of sufficient contributions from interested parties, including any county, city, village or town, to cover the cost of erecting a marker along a route specified in sub. (1) to clearly identify to motorists the designation of the route as the "Flyway Highway", the department shall erect and maintain the marker. No state funds, other than from the receipt of contributions under this subsection, may be expended for the erection or maintenance of the marker.

AB55-SA1,2,10 (b) Notwithstanding par. (a), any county, city, village or town may erect and maintain a marker along a route specified in sub. (1) to clearly identify to motorists the designation of the route as the "Flyway Highway" if the highway is under the jurisdiction of the county, city, village or town.".
