AB557-SA1-SA5,1,14 110.07 (2) The traffic officers employed pursuant to this section shall constitute a state traffic patrol to assist local enforcement officers wherever possible in the regulation of traffic and the prevention of accidents upon the public highways. The department may not impose any fee on any county, city, village or town for special enforcement assistance of the state traffic patrol in connection with Farm Progress Days, an annual event sponsored by Wisconsin Farm Progress Days, Inc., to promote farming in this state.".".
