AB69-AA8,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB69-AA8,1,2 1. Page 2, line 6: delete lines 6 to 19 and substitute:

AB69-AA8,1,7 "(4) (a) Nothing in this section prohibits a political subdivision from continuing to enforce an ordinance or resolution that regulates the sale, purchase, purchase delay, transfer, ownership, use, keeping, possession, bearing, transportation, licensing, permitting, registration or taxation of any firearm if the ordinance or resolution is in effect on May 1, 1995.

AB69-AA8,1,13 (b) A political subdivision may enact an ordinance or adopt a resolution after the effective date of this paragraph .... [revisor inserts date], that regulates the sale, purchase, purchase delay, transfer, ownership, use, keeping, possession, bearing, transportation, licensing, permitting, registration or taxation of any firearm, and that is not the same as or similar to a state statute if the ordinance or resolution is approved in a referendum that is held in the political subdivision.".
