AB69-AA9,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB69-AA9,1,2 21. Page 2, line 6: delete lines 6 to 19 and substitute:
AB69-AA9,1,15 3"(4) (a) Nothing in this section prohibits a political subdivision from continuing
4to enforce an ordinance or resolution that is in effect on the effective date of this
5paragraph .... [revisor inserts date], and that regulates the sale, purchase, purchase
6delay, transfer, ownership, use, keeping, possession, bearing, transportation,
7licensing, permitting, registration or taxation of any firearm up until the date of the
8next spring or general election that is held not less than 45 days after the effective
9date of this paragraph .... [revisor inserts date], except that, if the existing ordinance
10or resolution is approved in a referendum that is held in the political subdivision at
11that next spring or general election, the political subdivision may continue to enforce
12the ordinance or resolution after the date of the election. The ballot question shall
13be "Shall the [name of political subdivision] continue to enforce the [ordinance or
14resolution] which does the following: "[text or summary of the ordinance or
15resolution]?""

1(b) Nothing in this section prohibits a political subdivision from enacting and
2enforcing an ordinance or adopting and enforcing a resolution or, subject to par. (a),
3amending an ordinance or resolution that is in effect on the effective date of this
4paragraph .... [revisor inserts date], after the effective date of this paragraph ....

6ownership, use, keeping, possession, bearing, transportation, licensing, permitting,
7registration or taxation of any firearm if the ordinance, resolution or amendment is
8approved in a referendum that is held in the political subdivision.
AB69-AA9,2,149 (c) No ordinance or resolution that is enacted or adopted under sub. (2) or which
10is subject to par. (a) or (b) applies to or may be enforced against an individual who
11is traveling directly through the political subdivision in which the ordinance or
12resolution is in effect if the individual is a nonresident of that political subdivision
13and if the firearm is unloaded and encased while the individual is in the political
14subdivision.".
AB69-AA9,2,16 152. Page 2, line 21: after "(2)" insert: ", or a county ordinance or resolution that
16is enacted, adopted or amended under sub. (4) (b)".
AB69-AA9,2,17 173. Page 2, line 23: after "(2)" insert "or (4) (b)".
