21. Page 1, line 13: after the period insert: "A pupil who submits to a breath
3test shall be informed that he or she may request that a chemical test of his or her
4blood be administered within 3 hours to verify the results of the breath test. The
5pupil shall be informed of the estimated cost of the blood test and that if the blood
6test is positive he or she will be required to pay for the test. If such a request is made,
7the school board shall provide a qualified person to administer the blood test. If the
8results of the test are positive, the board may use the results of the test in a
9disciplinary hearing only if the board reimburses the pupil for the costs of the test.
10The results of the blood test shall be available to the pupil and may be used in the
11same manner as the breath test, except that the board may not suspend or expell a
12pupil if a blood test result is not available at the disciplinary hearing unless the
13student failed to request a blood test.".
