AB774-ASA1-AA3,1,11 "(3t) Seizure of video poker machines. Notwithstanding section 66.051 (1) (b) of the statutes, no board or council of any city, village or town may cause the seizure of any video gaming device commonly known as a video poker machine or cause the destruction of any such thing on or after the effective date of this subsection but before July 1, 1998. Notwithstanding sections 968.13 (1) (a) and 968.20 (2) of the statutes, a video gaming device commonly known as a video poker machine that is seized pursuant to a search warrant or seized without a search warrant is not contraband and shall be returned as provided under section 968.20 (1) of the statutes.".
