AB774-ASA2,1,2 1An Act to amend 945.03 (intro.) and 945.04 (intro.) of the statutes; relating to:
2reducing the penalty for certain gambling offenses and providing a penalty.

The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

AB774-ASA2, s. 1 3Section 1. 945.03 (intro.) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB774-ASA2,1,6 4945.03 Commercial gambling. (intro.) Whoever intentionally does any of
5the following is engaged in commercial gambling and is guilty of a Class E felony C
6misdemeanor:

AB774-ASA2, s. 2 7Section 2. 945.04 (intro.) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB774-ASA2,1,10 8945.04 Permitting premises to be used for commercial gambling.
9(intro.) Whoever intentionally does any of the following is guilty of a Class A C
10misdemeanor:

AB774-ASA2, s. 3 11Section 3. Initial applicability.

AB774-ASA2,1,1312 (1) This act first applies to offenses committed on or after the effective date of
13this subsection.
